Orlando Boutique Shopping in Winter Park

Orlando’s boutique scene may be small compared to mammoth cities like L.A. or New York, but there’s unforgettable shopping here if you know where to look. (Hint: go to Winter Park.)

Work Your Wardrobe in Winter Park

Though Winter Park is not technically in Orlando, the two cities sit side-by-side, and locals seamlessly flow between the two. With its moneyed snow bird history, Winter Park is also home to bustling S. Park Avenue, dense with boutique shopping and sidewalk cafes. There’s prime people watching — think Lily Pulitzer-clad establishment mixing with fashionable nearby Rollins College co-eds — and even better window-shopping. You could spend an entire afternoon browsing here. Some musts:

Tuni

One of Winter Park’s most successful and trend-forward boutiques, women come here to get glamorous. Besides dresses, Tuni’s specializes in posh accessories like sky-high wedges by Sam Edelman and booties from Rachel Zoe plus lots of statement jewelry. Tuni is so entrenched as a go-to for Orlando’s fashion followers that it helped start Winter Park’s annual fashion week complete with runway productions and trunk shows.

Sultre

Like the name suggests, upscale sexy rules here with rompers worthy of the club, body-con dresses and itty bitty bikinis. Lounge wear and lingerie are also in the mix. The vibe is young and trendy, but hot mamas of all ages make the rounds here. Labels include Young, Fabulous & Broke, Velvet and Acacia swimwear.

Forema

You will have to cut a swath through the Rolly Colly (Rollins College) girls snapping up printed yoga pants, slouchy T-shirts and micro cotton shorts along with pastel colored denim and boho blouses. The looks are very affordable with dresses ranging from $35-$90, making it that much easier to fill a shopping bag.

Violet Clover

Pretty and preppy is the vibe at Violet Clover, with favorite labels such as Shoshanna, Rebecca Taylor and Bailey 44. Choose from crisp scalloped hemmed shorts, or a patterned shift dress for summer. Chunky, jeweled accessories are perfect with a romper or choose a tribal print cuff.

Get Dapper Downtown

Downtown’s boutique scene is more spread out, but this place is worth a special visit.

Zou Zou

This locally owned boutique has two locations: one in the heart of downtown Orlando in the Thornton Park neighborhood and in Dr. Philips, which is closer to the visitor corridor. Zou Zou caters to the young and trendy who aspire to looking like starlets with great street style. Boho maxis, curve hugging lace dresses, graphic print jumpsuits, bold jewelry and shoes reflect the season’s most trendy looks.
