Get your wands ready, Muggles. Universal Studios Hollywood has provided Harry Potter fans a more detailed look at what its version of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park will look like when it opens in spring 2016.

The park turned to the conductor of the Hogwarts Express train to take viewers behind the scenes of what’s being built in the first of a series of webisodes leading up to the park’s official opening.

Based on J.K. Rowling’s books and designs from Warner Bros.’ “Harry Potter” films, the newest Wizarding World will again include retail outlets and restaurants like the Oleanders wand shop, Three Broomsticks tavern and Honey Dukes candy store.

Five years in the making, Universal Studios has long wanted to build another version of the popular Harry Potter attraction ever since the park became a major draw for the Universal Orlando resort in 2010. The company found a way to connect its Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios parks there when it opened Diagon Alley in July, 2014, complete with the Hogwarts Express train.

Universal also opened a Wizarding World in Osaka, Japan in 2014.

When the Wizarding World opens in Hollywood, a towering version of Hogwarts castle will serve as the main attraction. Consider it Universal’s version of Disneyland’s castle.

The themed Harry Potter world join other recent additions to the Hollywood park, like “Fast & Furious—Supercharged;” “Springfield,” a land themed around “The Simpsons;” “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” and “Super Silly Fun Land;” and “Transformers: The Ride-3D.”
