Our friends over at W Hotels’ sister publication The Angle caught up with Barcelona-based designer Ricardo Cavolo, who partnered with Spanish shoe brand Muroexe to create a shoe exclusive for the W Barcelona.

“The spirit of Barcelona had to be shown in the shoes,” and feature “symbols and icons of particular things that I really love about Barcelona,” in the final look of the design, says the artist who has worked for Kanye West and Alexander McQueen.
