The French Alps are a dream! I spent 12 hours in this gorgeous section of the European mountain range, which is located in Chamonix, France. This part of the French Alps includes the famous Mont Blanc peak (the highest mountain in the Alps), as well as the Mer de Glace, which is the largest glacier in France.
The French Alps are a mere 30 minutes from Geneva, Switzerland, where I was staying for a few days this summer with a little help from Star Alliance and Marriott TRAVELER. So it was the perfect excuse to go!
