What Is the Marriott Bonvoy Moments Program?
Through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments website, members can redeem Marriott Bonvoy points for unforgettable events and experiences centered around their travel passions: arts & lifestyle, sports, culinary, and entertainment.
Marriott Bonvoy Moments are exclusive, high-end experiences only for members that change throughout the year and are categorized by interest and by destination. They’re offered on either a fixed-price or auction basis with the latter typically live on the site for between 15 and 30 days.
The Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program is free to join, and once you’re signed up, you can earn points in myriad ways. You can earn points when you book accommodations at hotels participating in the Marriott Bonvoy program and when you get a Marriott Bonvoy® Credit Card. You can also earn while dining out at restaurants or grabbing coffee at Starbucks during Marriott Bonvoy Week. You can even transfer miles with participating airline partners into Marriott Bonvoy points and earn points on qualifying Uber rides and Uber Eats restaurant and grocery orders, too.
What Kinds of Experiences Are Included in Marriott Bonvoy Moments?
Marriott Bonvoy Moments span the globe, with experiences falling into a broad array of interests (Arts & Lifestyle, Culinary, Entertainment, and Sports) and destinations (Asia Pacific, Canada, Caribbean & Latin America, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the United States).
This translates to vacations at fabulous hotels and resorts, as well as premium seats to some of the most coveted events. These exclusive travel experiences include celebrity-chef-led dinners and cooking classes, concerts with backstage passes, music festivals, on-field access and meet-and-greets at sporting events, and movie premieres. You’ll also find truly unique offerings — one member got to choreograph a fountain show at Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino, Las Vegas.
Some Moments are offered in collaboration with Marriott partners, including the NFL, NCAA, U.S. Soccer, the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, various AEG arenas around the globe such as The O2 in London, and more.
You’ll also find exclusive Moments created in collaboration with Design Hotels™, a curated collection of over 300 independent, design-driven, boutique hotels across the world. Imagine surfing with a pro in Ericeira, Europe’s surfing capital, while staying at Immerso Hotel, designing a custom leather jacket at SAVAS before dancing to a private concert in the penthouse at Drift Nashville , or taking part in a traditional tea ceremony and guided meditation led by a Zuihō-in Temple priest, a cultural immersion hosted by Genji Kyoto. Who Can Bid on a Marriott Bonvoy Moment?
Only Marriott Bonvoy members can bid on or purchase Marriott Bonvoy Moments — one of the many perks of being a member. Bids must be made in 2,500-point increments, and there are two types of bidding for auctions: Members can either submit a single, one-time bid, or input the maximum points they’re willing to spend. The latter allows the system to automatically increase their bid by increments (up to their stated maximum) until the auction is won or until the maximum bid is out bid. All bids are final.
An auction experience may offer several packages, each with its own auction, while fixed-price experiences typically have a limited number of packages available at a set price. Some Moments are reserved for members who have specific Marriott Bonvoy credit cards; these are denoted by a colored flag on the package.
How Do You Redeem a Marriott Bonvoy Moment?
To redeem an experience, members can only use Marriott Bonvoy Points, and they must have enough points to complete the redemption or bid. Additional points can be purchased if they don’t have enough points to complete the redemption. Points for fixed-price experiences will be deducted immediately from your Marriott Bonvoy account. Auction-style redemptions occur when the bidding is closed, and you’ve won the package. All redemptions are final.
What Are 1-Point Drops?
1-Point Drops are a limited number of Moments that can be redeemed for just one Marriott Bonvoy point — and they’re the lowest fixed price ever offered by the Marriott Bonvoy Moments program. They’re available on a first-come, first-served basis, and members can redeem one 1-Point Drop per calendar year.
Release dates for the 1-Point Drops are typically announced on the Marriott Bonvoy TikTok and Instagram channels and on the Marriott Bonvoy Moments website a week or two in advance of the drop, so it’s a good idea to follow Moments on social media for a chance to score a once-in-a-lifetime ticket. Previous 1-Point Drops included tickets to Cowboy Carter Tour, a fan experience with former Professional Football star Jason Kelce, dinner and book signing with award-winning actor and director Stanley Tucci, and a private concert with singer and song writer Alex Warren at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery NYC.

Some Moments include hotel stays, while others only offer VIP access to a specific concert, dining experience, or other special event.
