From nachos and deep-dish pizza to oysters and craft beer, today’s baseball fans enjoy an endless variety of incredible ballpark food at classic stadiums across America. It’s time to explore some exciting destinations where you can catch a game and hit a culinary home run on your next weekend getaway.

Boston: Fenway Park

At Fenway Park in Boston, you can’t miss the signature Yankee Lobster Co. lobster rolls. Cask ‘n Flagon marked its 50th anniversary at Fenway Park in 2019, and the New England clam chowder never fails to satisfy while you’re checking out the action on 60-some-odd TV’s.

Chicago: Wrigley Field

The Windy City boasts two illustrious ballparks, but eating Giordano’s stuffed deep-dish pizza, with its decadent crust and mozzarella cheese, at Wrigley Field will definitely make you feel like a champ. Italian beef lovers line up at Buona to devour the meatballs marinara on fresh-baked bread.

Houston: Minute Maid Park

When it comes to ballpark food, the largest city in Texas covers all the bases. Torchy’s Tacos delivers zesty taco flavors like fried avocado and green chili pork. Vegetarians can score tasty salads and hummus at Minute Maid Park’s Centerfield Market. Quaff an Amber Ale or 5 O’Clock Pils at the Saint Arnold atrium bar, repping Houston’s oldest craft brewery.

New York: Citi Field

The Big Apple got two new major-league ballparks in 2009, and while Yankee Stadium’s name is unquestionably iconic, Citi Field’s food has made a name for itself.

Burger options range from Shake Shack favorites to the classic Bash Burger (with onion and bacon jam and American cheese) and the meatless Shroom Steakhouse Burger with vegan mozzarella and sautéed mushrooms. The 10,000-square-foot Mikkeller NYC taproom offers some 60 inventive beers, plus soft pretzels and pulled pork sliders.

Philadelphia: Citizens Bank Park

To enjoy a classic Philly cheesesteak at Citizens Bank Park while you root for the home team, check out Tony Luke’s. Harry the K’s Broadcast Bar offers an excellent crispy-chicken sandwich with Brussels sprouts.

San Francisco: Oracle Park

Oracle Park’s huge variety of food reflects San Francisco’s diversity. Bay Area baseball fans go cray-cray for sushi burritos and teriyaki chicken rice bowls at Mashi’s Sushi.

Jerk chicken nachos are just one highlight at Orlando’s Caribbean BBQ. Slide into home plate with CREAM‘s droolworthy ice-cream sandwiches.

Dallas-Fort Worth: Globe Life Field

This spectacular, 2020-opened baseball stadium features over-the-top food offerings. From ice cream at The Frozen One to brick-oven pizza at High Cheese, it’s a great chance to go big in Texas.

Denver: Coors Field

Cold brews go hand in hand with game day in the Mile High City. SandLot Brewery broke new ground for baseball when it opened at Coors Field in 1995. Although best known for Blue Moon, the bustling taproom offers other fantastic beers, too.

For scrumptious chicken tenders and dipping sauce, head to Tenders, Love and Chicken. The concessions also have fun, wacky dishes like apple-pie nachos.

Washington, D.C.: Nationals Park

Things often get heated in politics and sports, but great food brings Washingtonians together. At Nationals Park, you’ll find yourself cheering for the Korean fried chicken wings and bulgogi hoagies at Chiko.

You can also feast on the acclaimed half-smoke sausage with chili at Ben’s Chili Bowl. Or get some cheese-stuffed chicken pupusas at La Casita Pupuseria, a Salvadoran favorite.

Baltimore: Camden Yards

Baltimore is just minutes from the big U.S. spy agencies, but it’s no secret at Camden Yards that Harris Creek Oyster Co.‘s fried Cajun catfish sandwiches are a big hit with hungry baseball fans. So are the Flying Dog Tap House’s Chesapeake fries with crab dip. The 1992-founded Boog’s BBQ celebrates a classic local slugger with hearty pit-beef sandwiches.

Atlanta: Truist Park

The award-winning H&F burger — widely considered Atlanta’s best — is available at two locations in Truist Park on game day. This double cheeseburger with butter-toasted buns features locally made ketchup, mustard and pickles. Leave room for the pulled pork and beef brisket at Fox Bros Bar-B-Q, and toast the home team’s victories with pints of Up-Hi IPA at the Terrapin Taproom.
